Documentary: Battle at Penghu Bay (53mins)
A battle determining the destiny of the peaceful, carefree Penghu Bay in the future one hundred years has been gradually unfolded after the clause of casino referendum was passed in 2009. The filmmaker flew from Taipei to Penghu ten days before the referendum and recorded while taking part in the key moment of the battle.

Devoting to writing and screening work for more than a decade, Seeing started to screen documentaries in recent years. She hopes to deliver and interpret the world we see more completely with the combination of images and sounds. So far she has had three documentaries published: Silent Shoals (discussing the issue of historical sites conservation), Battle at Penghu Bay (viewing civil consciousness with the gambling referendum), and We Love Photography (regarding the environment of photography in Taiwan), and now she is shooting a documentary about city development.

Attorney Chan has long paid close attention to the issue of environmental protection and human rights in Taiwan. Having participated in several Public Interest Litigation, Chan frequently supports disadvantaged minorities and public welfare, and with the experience of enacting many bills he knows well the risks and damage to democracy posed by improper lows.
