「透抽」這個以海產作為命名的展覽，其展名源自於2007與2008的「海參展」與「海參2.0」，再一次的原班人馬（幾乎）上陣，但是以截然不同的概念來策劃另一類型展覽。《透抽五》事實上就是從第五集開始展，並不是我們已經從第一集發展到第四集了，而是先從第五集開始製作。會不會有續集，或者是要不要拍攝前傳，並不在我們的考量之中。
《棘皮王者定番戰》的概念源自於成員們平日的嬉戲打鬧，我們經過長時間的紀錄，將平常嬉戲打鬧的影片剪輯成《石傻秀》影集（《石傻秀》已經分成兩季接續在Youtube上發表）。《石傻秀》與大多的B級影片一樣，內容包含了愛情、同性戀、SM等情節，而《棘皮王者定番戰》即是完整概念映畫版的嬉戲打鬧。我們發揮平日順手牽羊與收集廢棄材料的習慣，完全使用廢棄物來生成展覽、以廢棄物打造決鬥的舞台、製作決鬥裝甲進行一場全副武裝的真人快打。實際的打鬥於2009年在非常廟的展出中舉行。
這次在論壇雙年展裡展出的裝置作品《透抽 5.1》，包括了這支影片，以及之前展出時所錄製的其他情節，例如帶面具的藝評家討論展覽的作品等。

“Squid,” as a title of exhibition named after seafood, came as a sequent to “Sea Cucumber Show” and “Sea Cucumber 2.0″ made in 2007 and 2008, by (nearly) the same group of artists, but is based on a totally different concept. The “Squid” series started with “Squid 5”, skipping the supposedly first four episodes, which might or might not be made.
The video “The King of Seafood Will Be Back Fighting” originated from our daily play and fighting. We had documented and uploaded these playing moments to Youtube as “Shih Sha Show” (literally “Stone Dumb Show”) for two seasons. Like most B-movies, “Shih Sha Show” centers on love, homosexuality, SM etc. “The King of Seafood Will Be Back Fighting” is adapted from these “Shih Sha Shows” as a full-fledged movie. Its setting, constructed out of rubbish which we collect everyday as a habit, is a combat stage for human physical fights. The real combat took place at VT Artsalon in 2009.
“Squid 5.1”, an installation exhibited in the Forum Biennial, consists of the main video and other videos made in the context of the former exhibition, that feature such scenes as art critics wearing masks in the discussion of the project. (Text by Fuxinghen Studio)
