聚光下的場景中擺置著一張餐桌，作者在自己主導的一場戲劇當中扮演著多重角色。餐桌是這齣劇的場地，而拍攝的的場景是影像發生的地點。影片當中出現作者不停的出現切割與食用自己身體的狀態，在餐桌的範圍內在重複進行著某種持續性的操作後，中間穿插著一些在餐桌上不同於切割的影像，作者將自己食用完畢，消失又再度成型。
首先我思考為何我的影像作品中有一種消費性的視覺形式（電影），對於影像的愛好與迫切的這種慾望，成為了創作相當重要的目的，這消費性是一種主體對於經驗的匱乏產生一種反射慾望的經驗物，我試圖從一系列的劃分與比較中整理出影像之於我的關係，以及影像成為創作中的哪一部份及角色，當影像越趨靠近我們的同時我們該如何做出反應或是融合於其中？（文／劉玗）

Single-channel video
In this scene, is a dining table bathed in limelight. The author directs herself in the drama in which she has multiple roles. A dining table is the main setting for this play, and also serves as the film’s location. In the film, there is a repetition of images of the author cutting and eating her own flesh. Within the locality of the dining table, a repeated progression is interspersed with images of different acts of cutting. After the author is finished eating herself, she vanishes, only to reappear later.
Initially, I contemplated the raison d’être for this consumerist visual element (movie) within my video graphic work. My love of images, coupled the urgency of this desire has become an important goal in my artistic practice. Moreover, this consumerism is an experiential product of counter-desire that was created by the subject’s lack of experience. Within the series, I attempted to delineate and contrast images that relate to my ‘self’ from the images that I have become a character in, or a part of the production. When these images begin to encroach upon our ‘selves,’ what is the appropriate action: response or assimilation? (Text by LIU Yu. Translated by Yvonne Kennedy.)
